Some people naturally come across well on camera. Whether this happens to you or not, there is a lot you can do to make sure that your acting really shines on the screen.
Do you know what an L-cut is and why it should influence your performance? Have you mastered the difference between acting for a midshot and for a closeup? Can you keep giving your best for the camera even with lots of blocking and complex movements?
Screen acting is not just about giving a believable performance. There are technical elements that you need to know and adapt to, too.
This workshop explores how you can change the way you act to come across well in the final cut.
What you will learn:
- How to always make sure the camera captures you in the best possible way
- How to adapt your performance to different shots and situations
- How to turn problems into opportunities on set
